Lure – One of my favorite spots in NY, and just as delicious in Miami. It is located directly across from Lincoln Road. Their fish options are so fresh and incredible – perfect for a family dinner with so many options to choose from! My go-to’s: crispy rice cakes, tuna tacos, buffalo chicken lollipops, lobster mac and cheese and a few signature rolls to top it off.
Joes Stone Crab – Arrive early and get ready to wait! Oh YES, even at 6pm you can wait up to 2 hours. But, trust me it’s worth the wait – I dream about the stone crabs and the sauce that comes with it. As I sit here typing this, I am salivating – no joke. If you’re not a fan of stone crabs they have endless options of fish and some meats – the hash browns and cream spinach are a MUST as well. It’s definitely a hot spot and you don’t want to miss out! No time to wait for dinner? Pick it up for lunch and eat on the beach. It’s the perfect option (PS you can ship it to NY- brb placing my order!)
Prime 112 – It’s a scene – chances that you make a run in with an A-list celeb are high. Maybe wear your favorite outfit 😉 Cool upscale vibe. I’m not someone who would typically order a steak for their entrée, but I absolutely do when I’m at Prime 112. The sides are incredible and there are endless options of vegetables- from creamed corn, to avocado fries, to truffle mac and cheese, to crispy potato pancakes. OH and how could I forget the fried oreos!? Am I getting too carried away here!? You might need to hit up the gym after this one and sweat off this deliciousness.
Swan – You can choose to dine indoors or outdoors. I’m always a fan of eating outside! It is right in the heart of the Miami Design District with such cool vibes and a delicious and fun menu. Europe’s top chef winner Jean Imbert has been cooking for Pharrell for years and included some of his fav dishes like burrata, swan Caesar, lobster and shrimp sliders. If you are looking to “have a night” head upstairs to the rooftop lounge and enjoy cocktails with friends.
Los Fuegos – Located in the Faena hotel. This spot is known for its award winning Argentinian food and let me tell you, the ambiance is stunning. This is major restaurant goals – starting with the action and music you’re greeted with in the hotel lobby. My go-to is the branzino – let me tell you I’m a huge branzino fan and it’s definitely top 3 on my list. If you’re a meat fan, the skirt steak is insane. Great spot to go with other couples and experience a classy night sipping dirty martinis, wine, and enjoying the best food around.
Kiki on the River – If you are trying to party with friends, this is the spot for you. Get ready to dance on tables and feel the aftermath in the morning. Get a taste of Mykonos with a live DJ, twirling napkins and a party atmosphere. My favorite dishes are the tuna tartare, salmon sashimi, Kiki chips, lobster pasta and the Kiki fries (these are a MUST). Bottle service is definitely an option here!
Casa Tua – OH WOW, you can thank me later for this one. Casa Tua has the most cozy vibes, with options to sit in a Mediterranean villa or dine outside in a gorgeous garden. Northern Italian cuisine with amazing wine list – a must go to. I insist on having one of the pastas!
Katsuya – One of my favorites from LA. It is located in the SLS hotel with delicious fresh Japanese food. It has such a cool and chic atmosphere. The baked crab hand rolls are just everything!! I end up ordering multiple orders. They have endless options for sushi or Japanese dishes. You will not be disappointed!
Sirenuse – Old school Italian at the Four Seasons Surfside. It is definitely more of an elegant and intimate setting. The atmosphere is stunning and their pasta is absolutely one of a kind. Make sure to arrive hungry and grab a drink at the Champagne bar before dinner!
Milos – If you’re looking for delicious Greek cuisine, here’s your spot! The fish changes daily so the options vary based on what is fresh that day. The chef will always prepare to your preference. This restaurant has topnotch seafood, elegant dining, and works for family style sharing so go with a group if you like to try variety. Milos is one of my favs in NY as well. The Greek spreads are one of the best around!
Il Gabianno – Trust me, you don’t want to miss this one! Quick tip – I would suggest going at the end of your vacation so you can fit into your bathing suits and strut your stuff on the beach. When you sit down they give you some apps on the house and then the party gets started. You seriously cannot go wrong with any option on the menu. Insider note – what is not listed as an option is a pasta sampler, but trust me they do it and it’s worth it! It’s on the water so it has great ambiance- it’s a win win if you ask me!
Cecconis – Located in Soho Beach House. They serve incredible Italian cuisine which is amazing for lunch or dinner. It is located in the courtyard and I love their homemade pastas and pizzas. Also, the king salmon entrée is one of my favs!
Makoto – Stephen Starr restaurant in Bal Harbour Shops. They serve delicious Japanese dishes. The fish is flown in from Tokyo 3x week so it doesn’t get better than this. Top hit on my list!
Carpaccio – Located in the Bal Harbour Shops. Shop til’ you drop then eat your heart out- my ideal game plan. You can dine with the celebs and socialites of Miami or maybe your fav sports stars. Unfortunately they do not take reservations, so prepare to wait . One of the best spots for Italian cuisine with something for everybody on their extensive menu. To me, it’s the perfect Sunday night family dinner spot.
